What if I've missed the late registration deadline but need to take the test that day?

Testing in the United States, U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, or Canada:
If you've missed the late registration deadline, you can try to test standby.

In all other locations—standby testing is not available.
If registration has closed for your preferred test date, you may register for a future test date in the same testing year and then try to make a test date change on test day.

Note: Neither standby testing nor a test date change on test day guarantees you a seat at the test center. You will be admitted only if there are materials, space, and staff available for your preferred test option.
