Registration Options

Signing up online for the ACT is faster and costs the same as registering by mail. With online registration, you will know immediately if your preferred test center has space for you to test and you can print your admission ticket. Note: As of the 2010-2011 testing year, we have added online options for students with disabilities who can test at national test centers and for students who wish to test standby.

Request arranged testing (PDF; 4 pages, 57 KB) if:
  • you are homebound or confined on all test dates
  • there is no test center within 50 miles of your home (U.S. and Canada only); there is no test center in your country, or your religious beliefs prohibit Saturday testing and there is no non-Saturday test center scheduled within 50 miles of your home (or in your country if outside the U.S. or Canada) on any test date.
