If you missed the registration deadline to test outside the U.S.

If you missed the registration deadline for your preferred test date to test at a test center outside the U.S., U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, or Canada, you can still try to test by making a Test Date Change on test day. You will need to do the following:

  1. Look up your preferred test center to be sure it is scheduled to test on your preferred test date.
  2. Register for a future international test date. (If your preferred test center is not scheduled to test on that date, you may choose a different test center—in a different country if necessary—to find one with a seat and materials available for your test option.)
  3. Print your admission ticket.
  4. Take BOTH your admission ticket AND acceptable ID to your preferred test center on your preferred test date. Arrive before 8:00 a.m. and inform the test supervisor you want to make a Test Date Change.
  5. You will be admitted to test only if there are materials, staff, and space available after all registered students have been seated for their test option.
  6. If you are admitted to test, ACT will bill you $41.00 for a Late Test Date Change. Do NOT bring payment to the test center. (Your balance must be paid before your scores will be reported.)
  7. If you are not admitted to test, you are still registered for the future test date and may test then. If you are admitted to test, your registration for the future test date will be cancelled.
